Florida Bar · Practicing since 1976

As founder of Duboff Law Firm, Kenneth R. Duboff, originally from New York, has been practicing law in Florida since 1976. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University — “Go Orange” — and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. He founded the Duboff Law Firm in the ’90s and has dedicated his practice to the advocacy of insurance policyholders for residential and commercial disputes with insurance companies in both federal and state courts throughout Florida.

He was at the forefront of the first-party insurance industry and has been recognized as a leading attorney in the area of first-party litigation. He prides himself on his ability to aggressively represent clients in a highly professional manner, which has earned him the reputation as an attorney focused on seeking the best results for his clients — creating solutions to legal problems through quality work, innovative strategy, and a willingness to negotiate to resolve his clients’ disputes.

He is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the firm. He is there to advise, evaluate, settle, and — when necessary — litigate property insurance coverage disputes.

Mr. Duboff is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the United States Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals; the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida; the Supreme Court of Florida; and all local courts within the State of Florida.

Mr. Duboff is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated Preeminent attorney. In the past, he has also served on Grievance Committees for The Florida Bar.

When Mr. Duboff is not in Florida representing policyholders, he can be found in the mountains of Tennessee — representing policyholders virtually while herding cattle at Ranchero Duboff Farms.

While at Nova Southeastern University, she dedicated her time to public service at Legal Aid Service of Broward County, and she was awarded the Rebecca Knox Public Interest Law Summer Fellowship. Mrs. Solis has practiced in the area of first-party property damage for the past sixteen years, representing homeowners for their property losses from inception of the claim up to and including trial.

She also represents individuals and business owners in general civil matters including breaches of contract, breaches of fiduciary duties, negligence, misrepresentation, fraud, unjust enrichment, and the like. She was involved in the case of ASAP Restoration & Construction, Inc. v. Tower Hill Signature Insurance Co., 165 So. 3d 736 (Fla. 4th DCA 2015), in which she appealed a final order dismissing a complaint that her client, ASAP Restoration and Construction, had filed as assignee of an insured on a homeowner’s policy against Tower Hill Signature Insurance for breach of contract. The appellate court ultimately ruled in her favor, finding that the trial court erred in holding that the anti-assignment clause and the loss-payment provision precluded the assignment.

Mrs. Solis has been admitted to practice before all county and circuit courts in the State of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
